Your First Visit to hand2body

What can you expect?

We recommend you arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to your appointment. At your first visit, you will need to complete a confidential client form, where you will be asked to disclose certain health and medical information related to your massage.

Even if it's not your first visit to hand2body Massage Therapy, we recommend arriving 10 minutes early as this gives you time to relax and unwind before your session starts.

Once the confidential client form has been completed, we will check through your form and may ask you any questions that may need further clarification. You can ask any questions you may have.

You will be shown through to the massage room, where we will explain what clothing you will need to disrobe for the treatment, where to put your things, and how to get on to the table, and will leave to allow you to get changed.

You are required to wear underwear during all treatments. Disposable underwear is available should you require it. Gentlemen, we request you wear briefs rather than boxer shorts, particularly if you are having massage to the legs.

During the treatment

Your privacy and comfort is our priority. During your treatment you will remain covered at all times. We will only undrape the area to be worked. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, let us know.

Feel like talking? Some people like to chat, others like to "switch off" and relax. This is your time, so whatever your preference is fine by us!

Each massage is tailored to your specific requirements. We am happy to focus on the areas you are most concerned about. We can make a suggestion based on the information you have provided me with, taking your medical history into consideration. You may only want your back and legs done - that's OK!

Perhaps you would prefer to listen to your own music? You can bring your ipod and listen to your favourite music during your massage!

After your treatment

At the conclusion of your treatment, we will leave the room to allow you to get changed. Take your time, as you will be quite relaxed. When you are ready, meet us in the reception area. You are welcome to sit in the reception area until you feel ready to join the world again!
